Biography

Jadamba’s combat sports career has been a trial by fire: fighting in K-1 WORLD MAX, he has gone toe-to-toe with legends such as Masato and Buakaw Por Pramuk; and his first MMA fight was against Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto. He holds championship titles in Karate, Kickboxing, Combat Sambo, and MMA. But it was his underdog demolition of Japanese MMA superstar Akihiro Gono in 2010 that caused the MMA world to truly sit up and take notice of him. In spite of his achievements, Jadamba is a quiet, humble man who sees himself as martial artist first and a fighter second. It was watching Bruce Lee that first drove him to take up martial arts, and Lee’s example of integrating the best of all styles continues to inspire Jadamba. Asked about his motivation to train and compete, Jadamba replies with his favorite proverb: “To defeat an opponent, you must first defeat yourself.”
