Lee is a member of the new generation of Korean fighters who were inspired to begin training and competing by the MMA reality show “Go! Super Korean.” After watching the show in 2008, he joined Seoul’s Team Posse, where he trains alongside top Korean lightweight Nam Yui Chul. From his first fight in December 2008, he has developed a reputation for his aggressive fighting style, always seeking the finish. He holds multiple Korean combat sports titles, including an ADCC Korea championship, and is equally dangerous on his feet and on the ground. Win or lose, he is committed to fighting hard: “When I lose, I learn so much about myself as a fighter and a person. And when I win, I feel like the world belongs to me.”
