Biography

Bieke is one of the most well-rounded fighters in Chinese MMA – a competitor who combines pinpoint Sanda striking with powerful freestyle Wrestling. The ethnic Kazakh athlete hails from Xinjiang in western China, a region which produces some of the nation’s most elite fighters. Although Bieke began his pursuit of sports with soccer, he soon realized that he had a greater passion and aptitude for combat sports, and now trains out of China’s elite Xian Physical Education University, where he is a star pupil of China’s Godfather of MMA, Zhao Xuejun. Asked about what motivates him to fight, Bieke summarizes his goals: “To be a hero in the ring, by defending my pride with sweat and blood. To do my best in every fight, and to be known as a true champion. And to one day have the whole world know my name – for China, for my homeland, and for my team and university.”
