South Korea’s Choi Yeong Gwang Returns To The Ring Against Filipino Mark Striegl

Choi Yeong Gwang was originally scheduled to take on Japanese fighter Yusuke Kawanago in the semi-finals of the Legend Featherweight Tournament at Legend 5 before disaster struck: a knee injury forced him off the fight card. Choi had been flawless in his two prior Legend victories, and was heartbroken to be ruled out of contention for the Legend Featherweight Title. Surging Filipino fighter Mark Striegl stepped into his place, ultimately earning a controversial decision victory over Kawanago. With Choi now back in the best shape of his life, and with Striegl acknowledging the uncertainty surrounding his win over Kawanago, these two men have agreed to meet to settle all questions regarding who deserves number one contender status.
