Team MAD standout Jo Nam Jin is a fan favorite at Legend, known just as well for his behavior outside the ring as his talent in it. In Legend’s first Bantamweight Tournament in 2011, Jo looked outstanding in his textbook submission victory against Yohan Mulia Legowo, but was narrowly edged out for the title by Yao Honggang. Jo now has another shot at the belt but will be facing his toughest opponent to date to get there: Japan’s Taiyo Nakahara. Nakahara’s first Legend outing ended in a controversial disqualification loss in a fight he had dominated up until that point. Prior to that, he had won four straight fights, establishing himself as the number one contender for the Sengoku Bantamweight Title. He will be looking to put himself back on track with a win over Jo, and earn himself a shot at the Legend Bantamweight Title in the process.
