After narrowly losing a decision to Korea’s Kwon A Sol at Legend 2, Hill changed his training environment, leaving the comfort of his Australian home to spend most of the past year at Matt Hughes’ HIT Squad in Illinois. Although Hill notched a submission victory in his most recent outing, he is known primarily for his dangerous striking – a characteristic mirrored by his Korean opponent. Since his split decision loss against Legend Lightweight Champion Adrian Pang in January, Nam has had his eye on his next Legend outing as an opportunity to put himself back on a title path, and views Hill as the ideal opponent against whom to showcase his skills. With a combined 10 knockout victories between them, this is a fight that is unlikely to reach the judges’ scorecards.
